Video shows suspect wielding knife on RIPTA bus

LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) has released footage of an incident on board a bus that led to a lockdown at CCRI’s campus in Lincoln earlier this month.

Two women on the bus told police that a man armed with a knife had threatened to stab them during an argument, then showed what appeared to be a gun and said he would “blow their heads off.”

When the suspect, Junior Sage, was arrested a short time later on campus, police said he had a knife longer than 3.5 inches on him, along with an Airsoft pistol that shoots metal projectiles…
