Shawnee Mission South student sentenced for taking gun into school

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – A Johnson County judge sentenced a Shawnee Mission South student who brought a gun to school last year.

The 15-year-old pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm before the judge sentenced him to one year in the Juvenile Correctional Facility.
