Potassium iodide tablets available in Middletown on April 3

MIDDLETOWN — A free distribution of potassium iodide tablets, designed to protect humans against nuclear emergencies, will take place April 3.

The Delaware Emergency Management Agency will host the dispensation from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Volunteer Hose Co., 27 W. Green St.

The tablets are available to residents of areas near the Salem and Hope Creek nuclear generation station in Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey…
