The City of Hoboken has added new multi-way stop signs at five intersections as part of their ongoing Vision Zero upgrades, officials said today.
“The safety of our community, especially our most vulnerable road users, is my top priority,” Mayor Ravi Bhalla said in a statement.
“These new multi-way stop signs will significantly improve pedestrian safety and visibility to ensure better crossings, especially near our parks and schools, in support of our Vision Zero goals. We remain committed to making our streets safer and more accessible for all modes of transportation.”
The multi-way stop signs are located at the following intersections: Garden Street and Ninth Streets, Garden and Fifth Streets, Garden and Fourth Streets, Garden and Second Streets, and Garden and 12th Streets…
