A new Sprouts Farmers Market will open on April 11, 2025, at 4730 Marigold Avenue, in the Poinciana area of Kissimmee, Florida. The store is part of a larger regional retail expansion and marks Sprouts’ continued growth into suburban communities across Central Florida.
The location is positioned at the corner of Marigold Avenue and Cypress Parkway, near multiple residential developments and community institutions. It joins a growing number of national retailers and service providers that are filling out a new retail district in Poinciana.
A Look at the Site’s Transformation
The site where Sprouts will open has undergone dramatic change in recent decades. In 1995, the land was undeveloped and used for agricultural or possibly dormant subdivision purposes. Aerial images show a pattern of cleared rectangular plots, but no buildings or paved roads directly on site.
Development intensified in the 2000s, and by 2023, the area had been transformed into a structured commercial zone. Major infrastructure upgrades along Marigold Avenue accompanied new housing, retail pads, and access roads. Sprouts now occupies a portion of one of these new commercial plots…
