DENVER — The warden, a captain, two majors, two lieutenants, and two correctional officers from a state prison in Denver are on administrative leave, the Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) confirmed to 9NEWS Investigates.
In total, 9NEWS is aware of 14 DOC employees on leave. That figure includes the wardens of two other prisons, a program manager, the director of adult parole, the associate director of adult parole, and a parole officer.
DOC leaders have not explained why any of the employees are on leave; however, 9NEWS has reported two of the parole employees are subjects of a criminal investigation.
Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center
