SOUTH JORDAN, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A South Jordan family is urging the driver who hit their 14-year-old daughter and left her on the road to come forward. On Monday, while Cassie Clark was crossing an intersection near 11400 South and Bangerter Highway, she got hit.
“I was just crossing the street, and the walk sign was on… I had like, maybe two or three seconds left, and I knew I was going to make it because it was just like a straight shot,” Cassie told ABC4.com.
She says she was just out to get an ice cream cone. But that simple errand turned quickly after she was hit by a car.
