Massive Fentanyl Bust in Georgia Could Have Killed Millions, Police Say

Sandy Springs, Ga (WDNews) – Georgia authorities say they’ve made the largest fentanyl bust in state history, seizing enough of the deadly drug to kill 2.5 million people.

Sandy Springs Police say they received a tip that led them to an apartment where they found pill-packing equipment, weapons, and two suitcases filled with around 240,000 pills believed to contain fentanyl.

Officials say the counterfeit pills were designed to look like oxycodone, a commonly abused prescription painkiller. Smaller amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, and PCP were also found at the scene…
