WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police responded to a shooting at a Taco Bell on Akron Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 4:30 p.m., officers arrived at the scene where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A suspect has been taken into custody, and the investigation remains in its early stages, police say. The shooting appears to be an isolated event and there is no ongoing threat to the community…
