GREENSBORO, N.C. — The city of Greensboro is making big changes to downtown traffic. Officials are launching a new plan to close parts of Elm Street one weekend a month in an effort to increase foot traffic and reduce vehicle noise and congestion.
Two blocks of South Elm Street will soon close to traffic, transforming into a pedestrian-friendly space.
