Property manager created hostile housing for Black female tenants in DC, AG Schwalb says

WASHINGTON (7News) — The property manager for Waterside Towers Apartments in Southwest D.C. will have to shovel up $50,000 for allegedly creating a hostile housing environment for Black female tenants, according to Attorney General Brian Schwalb.

The Attorney General’s Office sued United Dominion Realty Trust (UDR) in 2024, alleging Black women who lived at UDR’s property were subjected to “persistent and pervasive race and sex-based harassment.”
