LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill in Lincoln’s Haymarket is expected to return to normal operations soon after smoke was spotted coming from the roof Thursday afternoon.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill near 7th and P streets just before 2:50 p.m. Firetrucks were parked outside the business and then left around 3:15 p.m.
A fire inspector told 10/11 the incident began in an HVAC unit on the roof. Someone was changing a part on the HVAC unit and spilled oil on cardboard, causing some smoke to go into the vents. The building was evacuated as a precaution…
