This weekend and beyond will feature active weather for Arkansas. Rain returns Friday into Saturday and then a severe weather risk looks likely for most of the state on Sunday.
Showers return to Arkansas on Friday and will increase in coverage Friday night into early Saturday. Rainfall totals should be around half an inch with isolated higher amounts.
We expect skies to clear on Saturday afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s. A hot and humid airmass will overspread the state on Sunday as the atmosphere becomes primed for severe storms.
