Emergency crews responding after semi crashes into train in east Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue is on scene of a Haz-mat response after a semi and train crashed on East 40th Street between Ivory and Locust.

LFR says crews have isolated the leak and identified it as malathion pesticide. Please avoid the area as emergency responders work to clear the scene.

The tote that was punctured is approximately 250 gallons and has leaked about 10 gallons…
