Two employees injured breaking up a dog fight at Janesville animal shelter

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Two staff members at a Janesville animal shelter are recovering after becoming injured while trying to break up a fight between two dogs.

The two employees at Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, at 4700 S County Road, a staff member and a board member, were overseeing a playgroup when two dogs got into a fight and they leapt in to intervene.

“Unfortunately, one of the dogs redirected his fighting from the other dog and on to our staff and board member,” the shelter wrote on Facebook
