- Wet & breezy start Friday, drier evening
- Potential for some dry breaks this weekend
- Cool and showery for the first days of April
—————————————————
Well, we’re back to our typical spring pattern with highs in the 50s and daily shower chances. Temperatures have topped out in the upper 50s today (no 80s this time…) and it’s been breezy at times. I’ve seen gusts as strong as 35-40 mph in Salem and 40-45 mph along the Coast.
Even though this afternoon won’t be record-breaking, our unofficial morning low was 51°. If we don’t get any cooler than 49° before midnight, we will have broken a daily record warm low for March 27 (49° in 2022).
REST OF TODAY
Even though we’ve only seen passing showers today, the rain will turn steady this evening. We’re expecting 0.25-0.50″ of accumulation overnight as wet/breezy conditions continue into Friday morning. Lows tonight will be in the mid 40s.
FRIDAY
Tomorrow morning will have a soggy start before improving conditions by the second part of the day. A few passing showers are expected in the early afternoon, but most of us will be dry in the evening. Highs will be in the mid 50s.
THIS WEEKEND
We’ll have a few short breaks from the showers this weekend! Saturday will be mostly dry with the exception of a brief, stray shower. Most of Sunday morning looks dry before rain returns in the late afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s Saturday, and a few areas may reach the low 60s Sunday…
