BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Residents living near Dawson Branch Road in Berkeley County may see smoky conditions following a brush fire that occurred in the area Thursday.
Berkeley County officials said crews with the South Carolina Forestry Commission have checked the area and mitigated the fire.
Authorities shut the road down Thursday afternoon while firefighters responded to the brush fire. People were asked to avoid the area. The road reopened around 5 p.m…
