An abandoned Mid-City house with more than a dozen propane tanks inside caught fire Tuesday, grabbing the neighborhood’s attention as smoke billowed from the blighted structure.
There is evidence that human interaction contributed to the blaze, Fire Capt. Edwin Holmes said Monday, but the incident is still under investigation. It is unclear if the fire was accidental or intentional, Holmes said.
