Two people were arrested in Sun Valley on Monday for drug charges.
On March 30, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop in Sun Valley for traffic-related violations. The vehicle, previously observed at a residence known for criminal activity and involved in an active investigation by the Sparks Police Department, contained three individuals.
Following initial contact, a K9 officer from the Reno Police Department was called to the scene. The K9 conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted deputies, providing probable cause for a search.
