New laws aim to make affordable rentals more accessible for Michiganders

UPPER MICHIGAN (WLUC) – New state laws impacting renters and landlords are set to go into effect.

Starting Wednesday, landlords with five or more properties can no longer deny renters who use housing vouchers or other government assistance.
