CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Detectives with the Corpus Christi Police Department’s Narcotics and Vice Investigations Division executed multiple search warrants at two illegal gambling establishments on the city’s northwest side Wednesday afternoon. The raids were part of an ongoing effort to eliminate illegal gambling within the city limits.
Following a months-long investigation, detectives secured search warrants for two game rooms located at 11217 Leopard Street, Suite A and Suite B. During the searches, a substantial amount of gambling equipment, over $10,000 in cash, and other evidence of illegal gambling were seized, according to a press release from the department.
At Suite A, 55-year-old Molly Miller was arrested and charged with Gambling Promotion, Keeping a Gambling Place, and Possession of a Gambling Device.
