A new udon noodle spot in the North Loop and a Yemeni coffee shop’s expansion to southern Minnesota were among the restaurant headlines in March.
The month also brought the closure of some beloved Minnesota establishments, such as downtown St. Paul’s Saint Dinette and Minneapolis’ Iron Door Pub.

Cafe Yoto (548 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis): Chef Yo Hasegawa’s new restaurant in the North Loop specializes in udon noodles. The fast-casual Japanese eatery also serves donburi, temaki and other dishes, as well as beer and sake. Read more here …
