CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people are recovering after their car drove off a cliff at the Cook Out in University City on Monday night.
Witnesses said the pair was in the drive-thru when their car started revving and suddenly flew down an embankment into a nearby creek. The video showed their car upside down with a group of strangers working quickly to pull them from the vehicle.
