MIRAMAR, Fla. – A 29-year-old woman was behind bars Wednesday to face charges for the murder of a man in Broward County hours after he had struck her in Miami-Dade County.
Detectives believe Yesenia Collier conspired with a woman and a gunman who killed Alec Hugh-Sam, a Jamaican-American father of two who had lived in South Florida since 2014.
Before the tragedy in Miramar, Hugh-Sam and Collier were together at the Ghost Bar in Davie, and later at Klub 24 in Opa-locka, where he had slapped her in the face, police said…
