Fresno Police find stolen gun, arrest felon after chase

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A convicted felon was arrested and a handgun was recovered after a man ran from a traffic stop in central Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.

In a social media post made Thursday, police say they conducted a traffic stop in the area of Clinton and Brawley avenues for multiple vehicle code violations.

As the vehicle stopped, the front passenger got out of the vehicle and ran away. As he fled, police said he dropped a loaded firearm.
