The Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier’s Office of Statewide Prosecution (OSP) has secured a 25-year prison sentence for a man convicted of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Lucus Figueroa was charged with 22 counts of possession of CSAM. Law enforcement investigations revealed that Figueroa downloaded and exchanged CSAM and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with other online users regarding the content.
“This predator possessed at least 22 files of child sexual abuse material featuring minors around the age of 12—and there is evidence of him engaging in disturbing, explicit conversations about a supposed 11-year-old,” said Attorney General James Uthmeier. “Thanks to our law enforcement partners at FDLE and Assistant Statewide Prosecutor Rebecca Smith-Hameroff, this pedophile will spend the next 25 years behind bars.”…
