MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. ( WGN ) — A former suburban officer is accused of leaving the scene of a crash while driving under the influence, Midlothian police announced.
On Monday, March 31, just after 2:20 p.m., Midlothian police officers responded to the parking lot of the White Castle, located at 14700 S. Cicero Ave., on the report of a hit-and-run crash. The victim told officers at the scene that a male driving a red Ford F-350 struck their vehicle.
Police add that the victim provided the vehicle’s license plate number, the company name on the vehicle’s door, and a picture of the driver.
Less than an hour later, around 3:10 p.m., Midlothian police officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Kostner Avenue for a report of a vehicle crashing into a garage…
