El Paso man sentenced after killing other man at South Central bar

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — An El Paso man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after killing another man during a shoot-out at a bar parking lot nearly four years ago in South Central El Paso, according to the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office.

The DA’s Office says Daniel Torres, 42, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon last Thursday, March 27, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
