EL PASO, Texas (Gray News) – Border patrol officers say they seized methamphetamine from a man attempting to hide the items in an unusual spot on his body while crossing an international checkpoint.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, officers working at the Ysleta international crossing in El Paso seized approximately one-third of a pound of methamphetamine on March 30.
The drugs were hidden on the body of a 26-year-old man, who was not immediately identified by authorities, making his way back to the United States.
