Murphy City Council candidate Elizabeth Abraham said she wants to maintain the city’s small-town charm while addressing the challenges of rapid growth.
Abraham, who serves as mayor pro tem, is seeking her third term in Place 1, and said her experience in city governance, leadership and community engagement shows her commitment to making a positive impact and guiding Murphy toward a future prioritizing the needs and values of residents.
“During my time on the council, I’ve worked to enhance infrastructure, preserve green spaces and improve community services,” she said. “I will make sure that the influence of special interest groups, such as developers, does not outweigh the voice of the community.”…
