World No. 12 amateur responds after shattering Masters record at Augusta National

Megha Ganne has etched her name in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) record books, delivering a flawless nine-under-par 63 during her first round.

Kickstarting the event – which ushers in two weeks of golf anticipation leading up to the Masters – Ganne’s performance is now the best 18-hole score in ANWA history, eclipsing her former Stanford teammate’s 65 set back in 2023.
