ICE Crackdown: Florida Sheriff Issues ‘A Simple Warning’

Local jurisdictions in Florida are reportedly aiding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in its illegal immigration efforts. St. Johns County has strengthened its collaboration with federal authorities, focusing on detaining undocumented individuals and combating human smuggling. Recently, St. Johns County officers detained two Guatemalan nationals from a broken-down vehicle in St. Augustine.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) operates a task force led by Sgt. Bobby Kukar, with 20-25 officers conducting weekly operations along the Interstate 95 corridor.

St. Johns County Sheriff Robert Hardwick said, “And a simple warning, that in the state of Florida, if you are wanted — whether you’re an illegal alien or you’re a citizen of the United States — we are going to hunt you down to find you and hold you accountable for your actions.”…
