California Weather Alert: Central Valley Temperatures to Hit 85°F+ by Next Week

Fresno, CA — A warming trend will bring unseasonably high temperatures to Central California this week, with parts of the Central Valley expected to exceed 85°F by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Hanford, high pressure building over the West will drive temperatures up beginning midweek, following a brief cooldown on Monday. Afternoon highs could reach 15 degrees above normal from Fresno County southward between Wednesday and Friday.
