BROOKLYN , N.Y. — A 69-year-old man was violently assaulted in his Brooklyn home Monday night after two unidentified individuals forced their way into his residence in a targeted attack, police said.

According to the NYPD, the incident took place around 9:11 p.m. in the vicinity of Shore Parkway and Bay 49 Street within the 60th Precinct. The victim had opened his door to two men who then allegedly forced their way inside and began to punch and kick him repeatedly.
The suspects, both described as males with light complexions, fled the scene on foot heading eastbound on Bay 49 Street. The NYPD said the attackers left the man with visible injuries including a laceration to the mouth and bruising on his head and legs, but he declined hospitalization.
Suspects wore black and masked faces
The first suspect was last seen wearing a black face mask, black sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket over a black sweatshirt, along with black pants and black sneakers. Both men have not yet been identified.
The NYPD released the descriptions as they seek the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
