Brundidge Man Killed in Head-On Collision on Alabama 125

TROY, Ala. – A tragic two-vehicle crash on Friday, April 4, claimed the life of a Brundidge man and left two others injured. The accident occurred around noon on Alabama Highway 125 near mile marker 23, approximately seven miles south of Brundidge in Pike County.

Anquavious D. Walker, 25, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Impala when his vehicle collided head-on with a 2002 Toyota 4Runner driven by 43-year-old Adrian G. Vernon of Covington, Georgia. According to authorities, Walker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vernon sustained injuries and was transported to Southeast Health in Dothan for treatment. A 2-year-old passenger in Walker’s vehicle was also injured and taken to a local hospital. The condition of the child has not been released…
