Tales about Toledo’s Warehouse District when it was a notorious red-light district more than 100 years ago will be the focus of an author’s talk at 3 p.m. Wednesday inside the William S. Carlson Library on the University of Toledo’s main campus.
The talk will be presented in Room 1005. Author Doug Tracy will discuss what he learned from studying the career of his great-grandfather, Lewis B. Tracy, a detective who patrolled that part of the city from 1898 through 1921. Lewis B. Tracy also served as captain of Toledo’s detective bureau.
