ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The hills are alive with Easter eggs. More than 100,000 plastic shells cover Alpine Hills in Rockford for Rockford-area children to pluck.
On Sunday, hundreds of families gathered for what Screw City Jeeps called the area’s biggest Easter egg hunt. The event brought together presenters like the Rockford Park District, Ald. Frank Beach (R-10th Ward) and Ald. Aprel Prunty (D-6th Ward), the Autism Program of Easterseals and more.
