ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Love Park business known to serve helps those who protect and serve. More than 50 people showed up for a meat raffle fundraiser hosted by Finnegan’s Cottage on North 2nd Street. Products from Pinnon’s and Mead’s Meat Market could be won every thirty minutes throughout the afternoon
Those who work at the bar say they hosted the fundraiser Sunday to support the K-9 unit of the Loves Park police department and expect to host more fundraiser in the near future.
