PHOENIX — Last week, 204 people were charged with illegal immigration activity, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona.
Federal entities including U.S. Border Patrol, ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI either “referred or supported” cases that featured 107 aliens who illegally entered the U.S., according to a Friday press release from the office.
Prosecutors also said there were 83 cases of people who illegally re-entered the U.S. and 14 cases involving individuals who were charged with smuggling migrants in Arizona.
