PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (WFLA) — Gage Towles, the fisherman who went viral after recording a heated confrontation with a charter captain, is asking the public to tone down their outrage.
The 22-year-old’s attorney, Steven Leskovich, released a statement to 8 On Your Side Monday, responding to the arrest of Brock Horner, 40, of Port Charlotte .

Horner, who operated Tarpon Coast Fishing Charters, got into an argument with Towles — which escalated into Horner boarding Towles’ boat and grabbing at his shirt, police said.
The captain was arrested days later on a burglary with assault or battery charge, with orders from the court to not contact Towles.
