MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The now-former chair of a board designed to review “good behavior” credits for Tennessee inmates has pleaded guilty to statutory rape.
District Attorney Frederick Agee confirmed Monday that Vanessa Murtaugh, former chair for the Tennessee Inmate Disciplinary Oversight Board, pleaded guilty to aggravated statutory rape and statutory rape by an authority figure.
