AMITE — A manhunt that stretched across the country ended Friday evening when Joshua Brocato was arrested in Los Angeles, bringing a dramatic turn to a disturbing case out of Tangipahoa Parish. Authorities say Brocato, dressed in green military-style clothing and armed with three guns, was taken into custody around 5:45 p.m. local time.
In addition to two counts of first-degree murder issued by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, Brocato is also facing multiple charges in California. Those include possession of a loaded, unregistered firearm; possession of an assault weapon; and altering or removing a firearm’s serial number, according to TPSO.
