Sulphur Springs Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

Hopkins County, TX (April 7, 2025) — A routine traffic stop in Sulphur Springs led to a drug arrest involving multiple controlled substances, according to law enforcement reports.

On April 6, 2025, a Sulphur Springs Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a white Ford Escape near Interstate 30 Eastbound. Upon making contact with the driver, later identified as 52-year-old Yolanda Cametric Hildreth of Magnolia, Arkansas, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Hildreth admitted to possessing marijuana and turned it over to authorities. Officers then asked her to hand over a cigarillo package located on the center console. Inside the package, they discovered a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine, weighing approximately 0.66 grams…
