Lori Vallow Daybell instantly breaks court protocol while acting as own attorney

PHOENIX (AP) — Lori Vallow Daybell, 51, convicted in 2023 of murdering two of her children, chose to represent herself for her next trial in the death of a family member.

Vallow is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the 2019 death of her estranged husband, Charles Vallow, who was shot to death by Daybell’s brother, Alex Cox. If convicted, Vallow could face yet another life sentence in addition to the three she’s currently serving for the murders of her children Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow and the murder of Tammy Daybell, who was married to Chad Daybell at the time of her death.
