Tonight’s Forecast: Clear early, but cold & cloudy late

The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Reece Cole: Grand Rapid did observe snowfall once again on Tuesday, with more chances with a more organized system Wednesday and Thursday. We’re also looking to stay 10 or more degrees below average under the influence of this system. We are watching for slushy snow accumulations Wednesday evening that may imapct your commute, but thankfully temperatures will stay just above freezing into Thursday morning, minimizing impacts. From Thursday afternoon into the weekend, quiet weather returns with a gradual warming trend, with sunshine and 60s by next Sunday. “Average/Normal” highs are currently in the mid 50s.
