Michigan Alpaca Fest: Nation’s longest running alpaca show returns next weekend

The country’s longest-running alpaca show is returning to Michigan next weekend, celebrating its 27th year.

The long-standing tradition offers rich and engaging experiences for all ages and promotes the alpaca industry by offering educational opportunities, competitions and a place for artisans to showcase products made from alpaca fleece.

The 2025 Michigan Alpaca Fest is open to the public, with free admission, however there will be a donation jar out. Hours for the public are Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
