Benjamin Philip Lowe, 32, of Acworth, and Michael Neal Cagle, 40, of Canton, are accused of cutting up five different power poles belonging to Acworth Power, valued at $45,294, between March 17 at 12:17 p.m. and March 29 at 11:11 a.m. at 4505 McLain Circle in Acworth, according to arrest warrants from the Acworth Police Department.
Lowe and Cagle took the cut up poles to Taylor’s Scrapyard and Metal Recycling on March 17, March 22 and March 29, where they were sold for a combined $1,985, according to the warrants.
