El Paso’s mayor just made a huge donation to a fairly new animal welfare/rescue league that helps a number of local organizations and individual pet owners.
The Borderland Animal Welfare Collaborative, (BAWC), works with over 20 rescues, shelters, and municipalities throughout the El Paso area as well as some individual pet owners and “rescuers”.
Like most animal welfare and rescue leagues, the BAWC could use a little help themselves and El Paso Mayor Renard Johnson just answered that call by donating his entire, January salary.to them…
