AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Education Association, which is the teachers’ union that represents more than 2,700 educators and employees at Akron Public Schools, has filed additional Unfair Labor Practice charges against the district’s Board of Education and Superintendent Michael Robinson.
“These filings cite egregious and ongoing violations of the collective bargaining agreement,” according to a Tuesday press release from the AEA.
The union says the latest actions from Superintendent Robinson “include recommending the layoff of multiple union members without proper adherence to contractually and legally required procedures.”…
