Tampa man drove 140 mph, ignored lights before crashing in Pinellas: Arrested

A Tampa man was accused of leading Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a chase that reached 140 mph.

According to an arrest record, FHP troopers were investigating allegations of street racing in Pinellas Park early Sunday morning when one of them noticed a Ford Mustang travelling at around 110 mph in a 45 mph zone on 28th Street North.
